Smoke and smokeless tobacco is a safer alternative to smoking and it is better for you, according to a report released on Tuesday by the Israel Tobacco Control Research Center.
The report is based on more than 60 years of research, conducted at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the University of California, San Francisco.
The Center is headed by Dr. David Gertner, who is a member of the Israeli Institute for Health Technology and director of the Israel Center for Tobacco Control and Health.
The study is published in the journal Lancet, a respected medical journal in the United Kingdom.
Gertner told The Jerusalem Times that while he supports a national ban on smoking in public places, he does not believe smoking should be banned entirely.
“We do not believe that smoking is the only way to quit smoking,” Gertners told The Times.
“In fact, we think that people should be able to stop smoking but with the help of other methods.”
Gertners is not alone in his belief that smoking should not be banned.
The Israeli National Tobacco Control Council (INTC) has called for a ban on all forms of smoking and vaping.
The ITC has said that banning smoking and smokingless tobacco would be inhumane.
It also said that the use of e-cigarettes is a form of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) that would be acceptable in public spaces.
“The most important thing is to have a safe and effective smoking cessation program,” said ITC chairman Shaul Bar-Lev.
“The use of electronic cigarettes is one of the ways to do that.
They have already proven their efficacy and the harm they cause.
The use of these products should be limited and controlled.
In addition, they are not an alternative to regular cigarettes.”
Bar-Lev added that there are also studies on the use and safety of vaporizers and other e-cigarette products.
He said that vaporizers are also more expensive and less effective than smoking.
The Israeli public is divided on the matter.
A survey conducted by the Hebrew University, which was conducted in December 2016, found that 53 percent of respondents believe that e-cigs should be legal, while 40 percent oppose such a ban.
Gretner told the Times that he is confident that the results of the Hebrew university survey will be a positive step forward for public health.
“We have been studying the matter for years and the results are clear,” Gretner said.
“There are clear studies showing that e_cigs and vaping are a safe way to smoke.
If people are aware that vaping is safe and not harmful, then smoking is also not harmful.
We need to be realistic about the harms that are being done to our health and we need to reduce those harms as much as possible.”
The Israeli government has recently approved a new tobacco control law that bans the sale and distribution of tobacco products.
The new law also allows for public demonstrations and rallies to oppose the tobacco industry.
